♥ Week 8 Devlog ♥

Hi Everyone! All finished with Week 8!

This time next week, the Jam will officially be over, I'm so excited!

Just small tweaks this week- I ended up getting sick towards the end (Still am ><) So not a whole lot got done- Not bad timing. however, as there's not a whole lot left to do!

- Took you long enough-

The script is finished! As best as it can be, anyways. I feel like I need to let my eyes rest from it and come back later to read it after a month or 2 to see what needs changing. I have a nice, clear to-do list:

I'm now relying on a few close friends to let me know if anything's seriously wrong with it- They're checking for any inconsistences,  things incorrectly capitalized (There's a lot of these, apparently)  and just anything that doesn't read like intended.

The Game'll be 20k all in all, which is a hell of a lot more than the ~7-12kish I was expecting when I started.

- More Gooey -

This week was big on GUI tweaks- I added a white border to the textbox, quickmenu and Calendar! A minor change, but I think it makes a difference:

We also now have a custom Input menu for naming the MC.

Still gotta hide the quickmenu here, but otherwise this screen's finished:

As shown in the upper left, I've also added an icon for the game too:

The main menu artwork was also fixed up, (it was approved!) to better match how the characters :

(Nicer eyebrows for Arley, mostly.)

There's a variant to each character's face if you complete their route in game, but I'll leave that a suprise for those who play it ♥

- Nearly there -

And that's about it for this week! I'll see everyone at the finish line with the game officially complete/submitted!

I'll do my best to recover from the cold, and  get to making any final tweaks necessary before release!

Thanks for reading! ♥
