♥ JKHA(2) Postmortem ♥

Hi Everyone!

What a week it's been! Thank you everyone who was waiting/ played JKHA(2) at launch (and in the future!!) , I appreciate the support!

It's certainly been a different experience this time around compared to the 2 other Jams I've taken part in - I'm impressed at how distinct they all feel, and I'm sure my next will also somehow differ.

I'm somewhere in the middle with how I feel.  Not so burnt out I don't feel like working on other VNs, but I certainly felt the effort I put in this month (despite the comparitive small amount of returns). Not overly excited with the end project, but not unhappy either.

- Turns out, spending half the jam sick affects your productivity - 

This time around was maybe a little rougher than the others,  since Zoe and I spent the first half too dizzy and sick to get work done. I am proud we kept at it! And proud of the end product, even if we both feel it's a little on the simple side.

- Games to feed pigeons to - 

One of the songs I used for this game (that I'd intended on using since the beginning) had a description that was something like "A song to feed pigeons to" and that's how I feel best describes the end project. 

A game to feed pigeons to. Simple, maybe a little brainless, but cute and hopefully a fun thing to do/play.

Does it hold up when played on it's own? I'm not sure. I think people who like Nanala will be happy with it, and I think Hina's going to make a great addition to the cast, so maybe it's more of a bridge episode for whatever comes next.

- THE FLICKER OF AZURE - JKHA CANON - 

So after finishing up my NaNoRenO game (and hitting submit) ,  I was playing  my friend pancake's entry, and noticed a familiar sounding group of friends in the diner that FoA's MC was brooding in.

I wonder who those guys could be!!

Which led to me picturing (and then hastiliy drawing) him sitting in the back while JKHA's far more fluffier events happened:So THAT's what MC is looking at.

Which THEN  led to pancake drawing this artwork of the two pairs together!!:

Look how cute!! I'm still obsessed with it. 

Please play Flicker of Azure's demo! It's really fun, Pancake's a very funny person and his humor seeps into his writing, I love it!!

I'm glad people though the plushies that Nala has are cute! Jared (pictured above) was my pencil case through college and now is Zoe's (who's in college right now).  And now he's helped Nala get a gf!
