♥ NaNoRenO Week3 ♥

Hi Everyone! ♥
We're now through week 3, phew! A little over one week to go, I'm starting to feel the stress again!
I'm still recovering from this damn cold!! T___T But I'm certainly on the mend, and it hasn't hampered my productivity too badly.

- Backgrounds are all inked! -
Most of this week was spent inking the bgs! They're all done now, I just need to get to the watercolor-ing.
Here's how they all look in person!:
I also implemented them into the game, which currently looks a bit strange with the lack of color (still, it's cool getting that little bit closer to what the final version will look like!):

I've also sorted through my paints and have a rough plan of how I'm going to to paint everything. (Hopefully this image kinda makes sense!):
I'll do a write up at some point of all the paints used in this VN, but I might find some of these aren't needed. I'll only know at the end! They're from a few different brands-- Mostly Schminke, Daniel Smith and A. Gallo.

- Additional Fern (arm)s -
Originally fern was going to have an entirely separate sprite for being tied up (as well as the CG) but I wasn't liking the idea of making a second set of expressions for such a small section:
I still kinda like it... but practicality dictated it get axed.
Instead, I've given fern's regular sprite a new set of arms:
(Well. A new set of stubs, I guess. The sprite only shows from about the shoulder up.)
There's also a bunch of miscellaneous stuff added, like tinting the characters to match the time of day:

The rest of the time has been me chipping away at the script-- I'm now starting to refine everything, and implement expressions fully.
My sister played through the script, and I was surprised at how finished it was starting to feel! In my head there was a lot more work to do, so I'm feeling pretty confident in my script!
I got to around ~7.8k, reduced down to 7.4k (Deleting an unneeded scene or two), and I think it might head back up to around 8k by the time I'm finished.

That's it for this week!
A bit of a shorter post, but only because my efforts have all gone into one single thing, rather than being spread out across multiple stuff like in previous weeks.
Hopefully next week will be a little more exciting! It should be, as, I should have a finished visual novel!! >:0
My list for this week is incredibly straightforward:

- Finish the art
- Finish the game!!
